Mylon Rae LeFevre was born on October 6, 1944 in the U.S. Naval Base Hospital at Gulfport, Mississippi to Eva Mae and Urias LeFevre.1 He is the youngest of their sons. Mylon grew up learning how to play guitar and sing with his family’s singing group, the “LeFevres”. Mylon’s dad started out singing on the Grand Ol’ Opry in 1921 and his grandfather on his mother’s side was a preacher who built 39 churches for the Church of God denomination. Mylon’s parents met while in Bible College and were married in 1934. Mylon first began to sing at age five. In the 1950’s the LeFevre’s sang for preachers such as Oral Roberts, A.A Allen, Rex Humbard and Jack Coe.
Mylon spent time in a reform school in Tallulah Falls, Georgia and had been kicked out of the Academy at Bob Jones University, South Carolina, a private religious High School. But during this time in his life, Mylon was already getting a reputation for being a good songwriter.
In 1962 Mylon graduated from High School and enlisted into the army. He was making a very modest income of $84 a week while stationed in Fort Jackson, located in Columbia, South Carolina.
But it was in October of 1962 when his big break would come. His mom and dad were scheduled to sing at the National Quartet Convention which was held in the Ellis Auditorium in Memphis, Tennessee. His mom wanted him to come out to the convention and sing that new song he had written while in his senior year in High School. That song was entitled “Without Him”.
Mylon managed to secure a weekend pass but didn’t have any money for a bus ticket so he hitchhiked the 600 miles from the base in Fort Jackson to Memphis.1 Between finding all the rides to make it to Memphis, he made it just in time to get on the stage with his family that Saturday evening. But Mylon wouldn’t have enough time to get changed.2 He would get to sing his new song “Without Him” for all in attendance, including Elvis Presley, who was secretly in the building, located off to the side of the stage in a specially designed booth with two-way mirrors that Colonel Parker had made for him.1 Elvis loved the song and would eventually go on to record the song in his next Gospel Album entitled “How Great Thou Art”. Of that night, Mylon recalled “As I began to sing my song, what I know now is the anointing power and presence of God came upon me. It was so strong it amazed me.”2
By 1964 Mylon joined the Stamps Quartet as a songwriter, vocalist and bass player. It was during this stint with the Stamps that Mylon first recorded “Without Him”. The Stamps put out an Album entitled “Without Him” and on the back of the album they introduced their new member to their audience.
“The Stamps Quartet has secured the services of a new baritone singer, and we wish to take the opportunity to present him to you by the way of this album. His name is Mylon LeFevre, and he is the author and composer of the title song for this album, “WITHOUT HIM” – Mylon’s interpretation of this very popular song will thrill and inspire the most seasoned gospel music lover. We feel that this is only the beginning of a bright future for the youngest of the “Famous LeFevres.”8
In March of 1967 this video (below) was recorded of JD Sumner & The Stamps Quarter singing Wayfaring Stranger and features Mylon playing bass guitar.
“Without Him” became a very popular song, especially after Elvis’ recorded it. The song was recorded on 126 other albums by numerous artists. But the commercial success of Elvis’ recording of the song meant instant success for Mylon. The first royalty money that Mylon received on that song from Elvis was $90,000. That is the equivalent of well over $700,000 US dollars as of 2021. And the royalty money kept coming in. At that time Elvis was doing only movie soundtrack albums so this album did extremely well with his fans. Plus gospel music was Elvis’ favorite music. He would win a Grammy Award for this album.
As for Mylon, he would end up spending $5700 of those royalty dollars into purchasing a new car; a Chevy Corvette. Then came the speedboat, both pictured here.2
Mylon recalls that though professionally his confidence as a musician was growing; spiritually, he was backsliding the more he became obsessed with “making it as a musician”.2 Mylon was still singing with his family, but Mylon’s ideals and styles were becoming quite different from that of his father and the family.
I wish I hadn’t
In 1969, Mylon left the Stamps and ventured out and started his first band of his called simply “Mylon”. This group of musicians would later come to be known as the Atlanta Rhythm Section. This was Mylon’s first attempt at blending gospel music with Southern Rock. They used a vacant Baptist Church for a rehearsal studio.2 At this time there was no venue for the type of music he wanted to make with his family or in the Church, especially in the Bible Belt where he lived.5
This album was entitled “Mylon, We Believe” and was released by Cotillion. According to CCM, some have said this was one of the first true “Jesus Rock” album on a major secular rock label. The problem that Mylon wasn’t seeing at that time was that he wanted to sing for Jesus but didn’t want to live for him. And that would lead to a decade of turmoil.
(Picture right is Mylon with his musicians for his album “We Believe”. These musicians would later become known as the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Pic submitted by Jared Wilhem)
In 1971, the now 25-year-old Mylon left his father’s group due to strains and differences over music and being told to “get his hair cut”. He signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and soon formed a band called “The Holy Smoke Doo Dah Band”. They began playing Jesus rock for top secular bands.

Though Mylon believed in God, he was participating in a destructive lifestyle. In Mylon’s own words “I can honestly say that through all those years of excessive self-destructive drug abuse, I always believed that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. I even put crosses on all of my stage clothes, guitars, albums and band equipment.”2 Before any rehearsal, concert or event he and the rest of the band members would take of the very available drugs that were all available to them. Mylon found that cocaine really enabled him to stay “up” and do a lot more. This would lead to a decade’s long addiction with the drug.2 Mylon was urged and pressured from management and media to dump the religious stuff from his act. Mylon’s drug use escalated and he continued to experience more success in rock.
In 1973 Mylon had over a million record sales and was enjoying a good level of success as a rock musician. He got to taste of the so called “good life” that celebrity brings. He was hanging out with well known musicians and even staying in castles. But as the saying goes, not all that glitters in gold.
In looking back to those drug filled days Mylon said “to escape my exhaustion, confusion and paranoia, I took every drug but birth control and they were all available in unlimited quantities.”2 But while touring in the south of France, Mylon overdosed on heroin. After receiving medical attention, Mylon woke up 28 hours later. Mylon suffered some brain damage due to the trauma of the medical event and experienced memory problems. He had problems even remembering the lyrics to some of the songs he had written. In Mylon’s words “suddenly it was all over, I had wrecked my hopes and drugged away my dreams.”5 Mylon had some sense to realize that he had made some mistakes and started reading a Gideon Bible that he had picked up in his travels.
Mylon’s physical state was not good. He was 6′-1″ and weighed 137 pounds. He had developed bleeding ulcers at age 27. So, he committed himself to a drug treatment program that year. Seven months later, towards the end of 1973, Mylon came out clean.
The entire time that Mylon was in the program, there was a quote from the Bible that he couldn’t shake from his mind. He remembered it like this, “God’s Spirit will not always strive with men.” Mylon for the most part had always tried to be a Christian, but up until now it had not been working.
Through the later part of the seventies Mylon would go on to release a couple of more albums before he would see big changes in his personal life and career.
So Help Me God
In the late 70’s Mylon’s dad retired from the gospel music circuit. Mylon’s father had always been a performer of Christian music, yet to him it was more of a way to make a living. He wasn’t really religious. But finally in his later years he decided to straighten out his own life with God and try to patch things up with Mylon.
Mylon saw his dad become a true Christian and the change began to impact him. When Mylon’s dad became very sick with cancer it was through love and visiting between Mylon and his father that began his own personal transformation. One night after leaving his dad at the hospital Mylon went home and prayed “Lord, if you can take my daddy, who has been such a jerk to me, and change him like that, I don’t want to wait until I’m old and dying. I want you to change my life now. Don’t let this be a disappointment. I want you to really be God.”
When you read the lyrics to Without Him and look back over Mylon’s life , the song reads like a prophecy for Mylon’s life.
Without Him I could do nothing. Without Him I’d surely fail; Without Him, I would be drifting. Like a ship without a sail.
Jesus, Oh Jesus, do you know him today? You can’t turn him away, oh Jesus, oh Jesus. Without him, How lost I would be.
Without Him I would be dying. Without Him I’d be enslaved; Without Him life would be hopeless. But with Jesus, thank God, I’m saved.
Jesus, Oh Jesus, do you know him today? You can’t turn him away, oh Jesus, oh Jesus. Without him, How lost I would be.
Years later Kenneth Copeland made the observation to Mylon that this song was about Mylon’s life. Mylon tried to do things on his own. He pursued his ambitions in music apart from God’s leading and this rock’n’roll life style eventually lead Mylon to becoming enslaved to drug addiction and other trappings that the fame of being a rock star brings. Life became hopeless for Mylon and eventually it did lead to Mylon overdosing and almost dying.
Brand New Start
In 1980 Mylon finally and completely surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at a Second Chapter of Acts concert. In Mylon’s autobiography “Live Forever”, Mylon said of that night, “Even in my stoned stupor, God’s love began to crumble the walls of defense I had built around my heart. As the evening progressed, I started to weep as I sensed His perfect peace all around me. Finally, I found what I’d been looking for my whole life – the sweet holy presence of God!”2 At the end of the concert Buck Herring led the people in a prayer and Mylon prayed along and in his words “I made that prayer mine and I have never been the same since.2
From that point on Mylon submitted to Jesus as the Lord and that required that He make radical changes in his life. He immediately started attending a local church, the Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta, Georgia. There he would be receive the biblical teaching and pastoral care needed. Dr. Paul Walker was the Senior Pastor.
Mylon turned his back completely on rock’n’roll and the lifestyle associated with it. But it came at a financial cost. His first challenge was to get out from his music contract; which according to according to the terms could only be broken by an “act of God”.4 Mylon’s attorney successfully argued that Mylon being “born again” was an act of God and was able to get Mylon released from his contract. So to move on with his life, Mylon agreed to a deal that he would relinquish all the royalties from his songs, publishing and recordings.2
So serious was Mylon about quitting rock’n’roll that his next job would be serving as a janitor for almost two years at his local church. Bill Morris, who was on staff at the Family Life Center at the Church supplied numerous details about that period in Mylon’s life.
“It was there that Mylon met Dean Harrington who stated “He had been my roommate for a number of years. We were playing with The Gathering Ground Band for our youth meetings there. Mylon started jamming with those guys, and they eventually became Mylon’s first Christian rock band. There was Dean Harrington, Mike Milsaps, Kim Klaudt, Don Woods, and Mike Adams.
Back then they were known as Air Born and they played every Monday night in the gym. Clay Burdette and I were actually the ones who hung all of the big parachutes in the gym to cut down on the reverberation of Mylon’s music. I remember Mylon’s first live concert in the gym after he left secular rock and roll. The place was packed with a lot of people from the Atlanta music scene who wanted to see what Mylon was doing. Click here to see a video of Air Born in concert singing “It’s Alright” and “Gospel Ship”.
(In 1982) I remember when Mylon was ready to release Brand New Start and start to tour again. He ran into a problem because the name Air Born was licensed to a competitor of UPS and FedEx, and it would cost too much for the band to buy them out for the name. We used to have a Bible study with Mylon and the band and the youth staff at Mount Paran each week. About that time Mylon came in excited about something new in the Word he had found that he thought was just “killer”. It was the verse where it says that God will not despise a broken and humble heart. I believe that was the seed that God planted in Mylon’s heart that grew into the ministry of Broken Heart.”7 For more of Bill Morris’ recollections of those early days. Go to Memories page 4. Broken Heart
The band’s name “Broken Heart” was taken from Psalm 51:17 which states:” The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God you will not despise.” In May of 1982 Mylon released the album “Brand New Start“. You can purchase Brand New Start on CD from Mylon’s website by clicking here.
One of the best live Christian albums of 1983 had to be “Live Forever” that Mylon & Broken Heart had recorded. Though the album cover is from the outdoor Christian Music Festival “Creation ’83”. The recording is actually from a concert was actually that was held in the gymnasium at Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta. Imagine the audio challenges with recording a concert in a gym! The sound technicians did a fabulous job on this album that features a flavor of Southern Christian rock and included a 7 minute evangelistic message from Mylon. Something that was a rather new thing to be included in a Contemporary Christian album.
Throughout the 1980’s Mylon & Broken Heart would be guests of the Canadian Christian TV Ministry called 100 Huntley Street, located in Toronto, Ontario. The band would perform songs from their latest albums. Here they are performing “Child of the Father” from their Brand New Start album (from around 1982) on the broadcast.
In March 22, 1984 was again guests of 100 Huntley Street. Mylon sat down with the host of the show, David Mainse for an interview. Mylon would share about how he was raised in the gospel music business and not in the ministry of the gospel and now he knows the difference. He spoke about his overdose and how it led to him humbly coming back to the Lord. Below is an audio recording of the interview.
Sheep in Wolves Clothing
Under Pastor Walker’s leadership Mylon and Broken Heart could grow as followers of Jesus and also receive the protection and direction that was needed because playing in a Contemporary Christian Rock Band was still quite controversial to some within their very Church, never mind in the Church at large. Long hair, loud music, lights and fog didn’t always sit well with everyone in the Bible Belt. Mylon recalls “Although our only purpose as a band was to bless people and to glorify God. well known Christian leaders persecuted us.” 2 But Mylon and the band had the Pastor’s support and more importantly, God was opening doors for them to minister to the unchurched and to Christian youth. They were headlining almost every major Christian music Festival in the world.2
In 1985 Mylon & Broken released the album “Sheep in Wolves Clothing“. This album provided quite a change in style from the previous three albums. The beautiful thing about this album is that almost every song on it was great live in concert. Additionally the band would go to the studios of PTL to record a live concert entitle “Sheep in Wolves Clothing”. Videos clips from that concert are all over the internet due to it’s popularity.
God was blessing the band financially as well. They were able to be accommodated with their own small gym, racquetball court, recording studio, a garage for their own double decker tour bus, 18 wheel tractor trailer, twenty five offices and a 200 seat meeting room.2
Over the next 10 years Mylon and Broken Heart would travel over a million miles and see more than 200,000 kids make come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord. There is a website that is cataloging their tours. It’s a “setlist wiki”. Click here to see some of the places and dates of Mylon & Broken Hearts tours. Perhaps you can fill in some missing dates.
Mylon and Broken Heart would be featured in concerts, news media reports, Christian TV Programs, and radio interviews. Mylon truly had seen God do some amazing things with his life.
Look Up
In 1986 Mylon and the band attempted a slightly different venture. They went with a name change of “Look Up” and recorded an album with the CBS record label. Some referred to this as an attempt to crossover to mainstream rock. Click here to see a picture of the Look up stage set just before their concert. Packaged in this album was a updated version of the song “Peace Begins Within” from Mylon’s “We Believe” Album that he recorded back in 1969.
In 1987 Mylon & Broken Heart would release another powerhouse album entitled “Crack the Sky”. It featured some real hits such as “Crack the Sky” “Love God, Hate Sin” “For my Growing” to name some. Mylon & Broken Heart would go on to win a Dove Award for Album of the Year for “Crack the Sky” and a Grammy Award forBest Gospel Performance by Duo or Group – “Crack the Sky”.
Here is a radio interview that Mylon gave with radio host Therese Romano from WWCM in Ypsilanti, MI. She worked at the station between 1987-89. (I was sent this interview some time ago but no date was attached.)
In 1988 Face the Music was released and it offered a lot of great sound coming from songs with unique keyboard, hard driving guitar and drums. There was some strong message and a couple of beautiful quiet songs of praise to the Lord. They would go on to be nominated for two Dove Awards and win a Dove Award forRecorded Song of the Year: Rock – “Won by One”
He is Strong
In 1989 Mylon & Broken Heart would do some touring with Whiteheart. This would be known as the “Heart Attack Tour”. Everything seemed to be going so well for Mylon and the band. They had just won a Grammy and Dove Award in 1988 and now another Dove Award in 1989. But Mylon and the band would be in for a major shock while on their tour.
(The photo above is from the tour with Whiteheart. Here both bands are closing the concert by singing a song of worship together. It was an excellent concert at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC.)
Late one August evening while traveling to Nebraska Mylon experienced a heart attack. He was sitting in the back of the tour bus, talking with some of the band members when he became paralyzed by a heart attack.2
Doctors would perform a CT Scan on Mylon’s heart and the results showed that only two-thirds of his heart was working. The other third of his heart was black which means there was no blood flowing through it. Doctors informed Mylon that this was due to his past lifestyle of drug abuse. They warned Mylon that should he continue touring he would further damage his heart and and possibly suffer fatal consequences! But against the physicians advice Mylon would honor his commitments. He and Broken Heart completed their obligations and finished their scheduled concert tours.
The timing of this diagnosis couldn’t have been worse it would appear. God had been blessing the ministry of Mylon and Broken Heart. They had sold millions of records and had earned two Dove Awards and one Grammy. They had established themselves as a powerhouse Contemporary Christian rock band. Many young people were making decisions to follow Christ. Mylon was being obedient to the Lord and was doing all he could for Him. Yet right while all seemed to be doing so well, Mylon now is told he has a serious heart condition. It would seem like a major set back had just taken place.
A Decade of Love
In January of 1990 Mylon and Broken Heart were scheduled to go to the Philippines for a crusade. Doctors cautioned him about making the trip considering his condition. But Mylon wanted to go on this trip an honor his commitment. Mylon had now been a Christian for about 10 years. God had used Mylon and Broken Heart to reach hundreds of thousands of people over that period of time.
After flying for nearly 30 hours, Mylon arrived in the Philippines extremely tired. Before checking in, Mylon walked around the hotel lobby and went into a little gift shop. While looking around the store his eyes were drawn to a little book.
This was the only book in the shop that was in English. It wasn’t by the rest of the books but was by the shaving creams and other assorted items. The book was called “God’s Medicine” by Kenneth Hagin. At that time Mylon didn’t know who Kenneth Hagin was.
He went to the counter to pay for the book but the cashier informed him that they don’t sell those kind of books in their store and that he could just have it for free.
So he went and checked in to his hotel room and soon began to read the entire book. Mylon found that reading the message in the book brought him hope. The things he read had never been taught to him before. Though he didn’t understand it all, it started a process through which he became more open to the words of faith found in the Bible. He would check out the scriptures and would even read through entire chapters to insure proper context. You can order this book at Amazon by clicking here
After the completion of the week long crusade in the Philippines, a total of over 10,000 kids gave their lives to Jesus. But Mylon physically felt sore the entire time he was there.
Back in the US, Mylon continued following doctors instructions for diet, exercise, etc. But Mylon continued to dig deeper into the book by Kenneth Hagin and deeper into the Bible.
Faithful
In March of 1990, Mylon went to stay with his brother in Panama City Beach in Florida. Mylon was using this time off to fast and pray and seek God. He was reading a book by T.L. Osborne entitled “Healing the Sick”. Though he didn’t know at the time but Kenneth and Gloria Copeland were ministering in Panama City and were staying in a condo just 100 yards from where Mylon was staying. About the third day into his fast, Mylon prayed and asked the Lord for the ability to understand what he had been reading on healing. He said that if God had to, he could send an angel to him to help him understand. Mylon’s book “Live Forever” gives wonderful details about what all transpired and offers much encouragement about how God supplied divine appointments and healing.
Later that day as he was walking along the beach he walked by a woman who he would be later introduced to. This woman was Gloria Copeland. As the two walked past each other, the Lord spoke to Gloria and gave her instructions that she was to minister healing to this man. Later by divine appointment Mylon met the Copeland’s and this is what Gloria told Mylon. “God spoke to me that He had called you to do something. That there was something wrong in your body and that He wanted to heal you. God also told me that I should teach you what He had taught me about the things Jesus said and did concerning sickness, disease, and healing. God told me I was to lay hands on you, and he was going to heal you.”
Kenneth Copeland wanted to insure that Mylon was no longer hoping but believing for his healing. So he took him through different scriptures until Mylon understood that healing was part of salvation. Mylon prayed according to Mark 11:22-24. The Copeland’s laid hands on Mylon and prayed. Though physically Mylon didn’t feel much different. Something had changed in his spirit. The next day he was inspired and the song Invincible Love came to him.
During that time different well meaning Christians challenged Mylon that he was putting God to a foolish test by continuing to minister and not listen to the doctors. But Mylon’s reply was “God said, I sent My Word and healed them, and My Words are life to them and health to all their flesh” (Psalm 107:20;Prov 4:22)
Over a period of time and through standing on the Word of God, Mylon did see his body line up with the word of God. Mylon was healed! Mylon learned a lesson that so many of us have yet to learn; that God is waiting for us to seek Him and believe Him. God responds to those who believe Him and trust in what He says. Mylon a powerful story in his book about a time when the bank wanted him to take a stress test and a CT scan of his heart to see just what condition he really was in physically. The CT result showed that there was nothing wrong with his heart. It actually left the doctors confused so they requested that they run the scan a second time. Same result. Mylon’s heart was indeed healed!
Movin’ On
By 1992 Mylon and Broken Heart had sensed the original ministry vision God had given them was complete. It was the end of era. God had done some wonderful things through this band. But now it was time for them to disband. Mylon assembled a new group of musicians for a new music project. The album was called Faith, Hope and Love. Some of the members in this project included Scott Allen, Ben Hewitt, Ken Bentley, Steven Curtis Chapman, Carman, Michael W. Smith, Michael English, 4 Him and Ricky Skaggs
Enclosed with the album is a summary of events from Mylon. In it he states;
“This album is the reflection of the changes God made in me, my family, and my band by the promises and provisions in his Word. These songs simply testify to God’s power, love and faithfulness to us. Praise God for the victory we have in Christ Jesus, He is Lord!
I feel like a new man and I thank God for this new direction, new friends, new music and His fresh new anointing. . . . “
This change would serve as a transition time for Mylon as he transformed himself away from Mylon the Christian rock singer. Click the picture to the right to see a video from Mylon’s archive featuring him singing “Don’t Say it’s Over” with his new group.
In 1993, after a time of prayer and fasting God told Mylon to go out and teach and preach His Word.2 Mylon had been already heading in this direction so this new calling wasn’t a complete surprise to him.2 In his autobiography Mylon recalls that he handed off his “mantle of youth evangelism” to his son-in-law Peter Furler of the Newsboys.2
Ten years later, in 2003 Mylon would release another music project. This CD was entitled “Bow Down. According to Mylon, this project is a musical diary of his life and his purpose behind these songs is to usher the listener into the LORD’s presence.
Today Mylon and Christi minister all over the world. They have ministered on Christian TV, at revivals, crusades, Bible Schools, Worship Seminars, Motorcyle Rallies, NFL and NBA chapel services, Nascar chapel services and ladies meetings. They are also committed to minister with Mike Barber Ministries which ministers in prisons across America. Mylon and Christi have also had numerous missionary opportunities in various parts of the world.
Mylon has a strong conviction and faith for people that are in need of healing to know that our God still does miracles!
If you want to know more about Mylon’s life story then consider purchasing his autobiography, entitled Without Him. Mylon has included a lot of great pictures from every period in his life. It’s a great coffee table book to own.
Mylon has set up a deal with his publisher so that rather being paid a commission for book sales, he would rather receive free books in return so he and Christi can give them away to inmates who are in prison.
Mylon and Christi really have a deep concern for those who are incarcerated. So when you purchase a book your money helps to support this wonderful ministry to those in the prison system.
On January 13, 2005 Mylon was presented with the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame Music Award. To view Mylon sing and receive his award at the ceremony click here.
Then in 2007, Mylon was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Among others to be inducted that year were: Usher, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Babs Richardson, and Freddy Cole. To view Mylon sing and receive his award at the ceremony, click here.
I Can Hear The Savior Sayin’ Come On Home
On the eve of Friday, Sept 8, 2023 Mylon LeFevre passed away after having fought a lengthy battle with cancer. His dear wife of 25 years, Christi LeFevre announced this message through social media on Saturday morning.
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” I Timothy 6:12 NKJV
My precious, strong and courageous husband laid hold of eternal life last night.
When we discussed heaven through the years, Mylon was most excited about receiving the soul winner’s crown. With his contemporary Christian rock band, Mylon and Broken Heart, he had the privilege of leading over 250,000 youth to Jesus. He cherished all the years of music ministry and the countless lives touched through his songs but his greatest joy was teaching the Word of God, especially through our broadcast, On the Road to Freedom. (This pic was his fave spot.)
Throughout the last years of this intense non-stop battle, never once did I hear him falter in his good confession of faith. In every broadcast and church service, many witnesses can attest to his bold declaration: JESUS IS MY HEALER.
Until his very last breath he fought the good fight of faith. He finished his race. He kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7
My honey, we discussed many times how we both daily answered the call for the holy affirmation that I know you are now hearing,
“Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.”
My love, you are finally enjoying in this moment what you affectionately referred to as “the first day of forever.”
It has been my highest honor and privilege for God to trust me with you these past 25 years.
All my love, Christi”
There would be a celebration of life service on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
During the service, Christi delivered a wonderful pre-recorded tribute to her husband.
